Health in Orbit: The Microgravity Opportunity
Overview
Australian astronaut Katherine Bennell-Pegg will share her insights on the benefits of microgravity for health and medical research and its real-world applications.
Our orbit is a testbed for microgravity studies. There is untapped opportunity for Australian researchers and space-adjacent industries to look to orbit for experimentation and advancement of Australia’s role in the fields medical and health sciences.
Drawing on her astronaut training experience, Katherine will highlight the potential for Australia to conduct microgravity research, including how its researchers and industries can best pursue this opportunity and help improve life on Earth.
