Dr Andrew Guidi is a Satellite Engineering and Space Specialist with Nova Systems having been with the company for 15+ years. Andrew did his bachelor degree studies in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and bachelor degree studies in Physics at the University of Adelaide. After several years employed in the telecommunications industry he then completed a PhD in Information Technology at the Institute for Telecommunications Research at the University of South Australia. For the past 20 years Andrew has worked on both military and commercial satellite communications systems in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Andrew previously worked for Airbus on the UK Skynet5 program and in the 15+ years he has been with Nova has been involved in delivering major Defence acquisition SATCOM projects. Andrew has an extensive technical breadth having been involved in the development of software defined radio’s for Defence applications as well as delivery of large strategic earth stations. In one of his current roles within Nova, Andrew is responsible for overseeing the Nova Systems Space Precinct situated in Peterborough South Australia.
