A qualified engineer and successful entrepreneur with an international commercialisation background, Herve had nearly two decades of experience in large U.S. high-tech companies, before moving to Australia.
Herve first worked with the South-Australian government, identifying high-potential start-ups, helping them secure funding to pursue initial development.
In 2019 he joined Neumann Space and led the business from a low Technology Readiness Level experimentation to an award-winning sovereign space-technology company. Developed by a fantastic team of engineers and scientists, their product, the Neumann Drive® is a flight proven in-space electric propulsion system for spacecraft using solid metal as propellant. Neumann Space established their Manufacturing, Assembly, Integration and Test facility in Adelaide, including a certified 160sqm Class 8 clean-room, TVAC and multiple vacuum chambers. Supported by passionate and committed investors, Neumann Space is now scaling up and is already exporting propulsion systems to a constellation owner and satellite manufacturer.
Herve holds engineering and business degrees. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Business School Launching New Ventures & Foundation of Private Equity and Venture Capital programs, the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the DTC Defence Industry Leadership Program, and the International Space University Executive Space Course.
