Biography
Koji Ina has been assigned from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI) since 2024 as Manager of Strategic Planning Division, Space Strategy Fund Department of JAXA. He also serves as Advisor to Director (international affairs), Business Development and Industrial Relations Department.
After acquiring Bachelor of Degree in Physics Engineering at Kyoto University, he joined METI in 2011. He received Master’s Degree in Information Security Policy & Management at Carnegie Mellon University in 2018.
During his METI days, he joined Cyber Security Division in 2018 as Deputy Director. After that, he joined Space Industry Office, Manufacturing Industries Bureau, in 2020 as Deputy Director, and he had served as Director there since 2022.
