Shena Howell is a Senior Systems Engineer at Shoal Group. She has more than 15 years of experience, primarily working in space and autonomous aerial systems. Since joining Shoal, Shena has become the Space lead, working with a team of Systems Engineers, physics-based modelling and simulation analysts, and various specialist subject matter experts to deliver capability definition, design support, launch and return support, and R&D for diverse space projects.
Shena has worked various engineering and project management roles in the USA, Australia, the UAE, and South Korea. Shena is also a Certified Export Controls Officer.
She is passionate promoter of STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths), especially for girls and women, and hopes to continue to engage the next generation of space professionals.
