Bron Hughes commenced with the Australian Space Agency in 2022 as a Senior Engagement Officer in the Officer of the Space Regulator before transferring into the role of Senior Space Operations Assessor in 2024. As a Space Operations Assessor Bron assesses applications for licences, permits and authorisations under the Space (Launches and Returns) Act 2018.
Bron started her career in the public service in 2002 and has worked in various roles and Commonwealth agencies since then. Bron has extensive experience within the regulatory space, primarily undertaking regulatory functions on behalf of the Commonwealth for the majority of her career.
