Dr Davina White has extensive experience in applied Earth Observation (EO) projects particularly in a South Australian (SA) context. Most recently the SA EcoMap project with SmartSat CRC developing tools to assist natural capital assessments and forestry plantation planning and management for the Department of Primary Industry and Regions SA (PIRSA) and primary producers. Chairing the EO working group at PIRSA as well as using a range of EO data to support the PIRSA Biosecurity Division and SA primary producers with decision support for Biosecurity related management and mitigation. Davina also made a significant contribution to the Geospatial component of a large federal and state funded project on Great Artesian Basin Springs monitoring.
