Zamara Rodríguez is the Optus Industry Fellow at the Space Industry Association of Australia (SIAA), where she leads national workforce development initiatives and coordinates the Australian Space Industry Capability Database. Her work is focused on strengthening talent pipelines and enhancing industry visibility across the Australian space ecosystem.
With a background in international law and diplomacy, Zamara has contributed to workforce and capability-building efforts through partnership with academic, not-for-profit, and international organisations. She is actively involved with the Space Generation Advisory Council (SGAC), supporting projects in youth engagement, skills development, and inclusive leadership in the space sector.
Zamara also volunteered as a Program Manager for the Astra Program and has participated in community-focused NGO work in Tanzania and Nepal, reflecting her commitment to support communities.
